This 25-acre vineyard in northern Cap Corse retains a distinctly Genoese overtone. The characterful wines it produces are much sought-after, but notoriously difficult to find unless you travel to Macinaggio yourself. Their white and muscat have a serious following among local wine buffs.

Christian Imbert was among the first to recognize the potential of Corsica’s traditional vine stock and granitic soil in the 1960s. Grown organically, his hand-harvested grapes produce wines of great distinction. Pick up a bottle of the vineyard’s benchmark “Oriu”, considered one of Corsica’s finest red.
